Ed started working on a Halloween song at the beginning of October. We played around with it for a couple weeks and I showed to my girlfriend whose friend, Stacy, has a big Halloween party each year. So we finished the song, they played it at the party, and I brought my Canon T3i camera. It was really dark. I went through the footage the next day with Heather and she did some dancing in her apartment with a strobe light and I got some of her dog howling with devil horns on. Edited and finished just as Hurricane Sandy knocked the electricity off. So we went to my place in Harlem and uploaded it on Halloween.
The magician is Ivan Straienco at Ivansinsane.com. He came over early Saturday and we did the greenscreen. A little later, I shot the puppet, which my friend, Chris Peyser made several years ago. This was the world premiere of the puppet.
I do most of the vocals on this one. Ed has the laughs and ghost sounds. I did the wolf howls. Ed put the body of the song together. I played around with the bridge. It was a lot of fun to make and it’s our first dance song release. So release, ’cause…
